Catching up with J.R. Murphy

That's IMG grad and Bradenton native J.R. Murphy standing in the outfield prior to today's game at McKechnie Field.

Murphy, a catcher and the New York Yankees' ninth-best prospect according to Baseball America, is in is first big-league camp with the Yankees and is on today's travel roster.

I chatted with J.R. about his experiences this spring, where he fits into the organization and his last trip to McKechnie, where he broke his foot while playing with the Tampa Yankees.
