Phillies strike first

The Philadelphia Phillies are currently batting in the top of the second inning, and have already produced three runs.

And the Phils can add more. They have the bases loaded with just one out, and have chased Pittsburgh ace A.J. Burnett from the game after only 1 1/3 innings.

Burnett's current line: 1 1/3 innings pitched, two strikeouts, two walks, one hit batter and three runs. He's responsible for the three runners currently on base for Philly.

Chase Utley and Ryan Howard are waiting to hit after Michael Young smacked an RBI single that signaled the end for Burnett's day.

Philly leads 3-0.
