A two run homer by Luke Scott backed up by some solid pitching from Jeff Niemann and Josh Lueke carried the Tampa Rays to a 4-3 victory over Baltimore, Thursday at Ed Smith Stadium.
Scott's homer might have come as a suprise to many because the lefty hitter got it off of lefthander Mike Belfiore.
"He has just been sharp. Even the line drive up the middle. He is obviously seeing the ball good and the ball is coming off his bat hot. It's nice to see it," Rays manager Joe Maddon said.
