North vs. South at McKechnie Field

BRADENTON - The Toronto Blue Jays are here at McKechnie Field to face the Pirates on a gorgeous Wednesday.
John Lembo here, and I will be blogging periodically from the ballpark in downtown Bradenton, where two franchises who nearly met in the 1992 World Series go toe-to-toe in a Grapefruit League throwdown.
Don't know about you, but I miss that old-school Blue Jays look, such as the one pictured above, or the one Joe Carter was wearing when he blasted the home run that beat the Phillies in Game 6 of the '93 World Series.
No dice. Instead, the Jays are wearing their standard, modern unis, as are the Pirates.
Now let's see who will be inside those jerseys and pants today.
